What changes
Meter and control water supply, dose appropriately and reuse water where technically justified.
How the result is verified
l fresh water / kg accepted processed or laundered textile, separated by cycle type.
Water meters, load weights and quality/hygiene records under comparable loading.
Baseline, target and acceptance
Measure the baseline at your operation. An initial planning approach is around four representative operating weeks, extended or separated for seasonality and product mix. This is a planning method, not a programme requirement.
Agree the target after a trial or engineering assessment. Compare equivalent conditions without compromising quality, safety or hygiene. Retain absolute quantities so a normalized indicator cannot conceal losses.

Textile or laundry technologist, water engineer and laboratory.
These are required roles, not contracted suppliers. Responsibilities, data access, timing and acceptance are confirmed before commitment.
When not to proceed
A new service without an eligible own baseline or energy savings alone does not establish the water model. Hotel location and the rural-microenterprise exclusion require review.
